Concept of the traditional education system is known to all, but parents do not have extensive knowledge on the Montessori method of education which therefore makes it difficult for them to make a decision whether they want their children to follow the Montessori system or not. They are unaware of the program or the benefits there of. They wonder how and who originated this method and how they can find a good, brief, introduction to Montessori from birth through the school years.

Parents are also interested to know the impacts it has had on students of the Montessori method of education and the success rates. Research has shown that Montessori children are well prepared for later life academically, socially and emotionally and ranked above average on such criteria as turning in work on time, listening attentively, using basic skills, showing responsibility, asking provocative questions, showing enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new situations. Unfortunately, the name Montessori is not legally protected and the governing bodies have no jurisdiction over the institution as these schools are not affiliated to any of the governing bodies.
