Convincing a Careless Lady

Madam I am so sorry to remark that you completely lack the civic sense. Do you realise, in what a miserable plight you have put me? I am going to meet my employer, who has asked me to take up a job in his concern, today. I do not have even time to go and change.

At least one should have patience, to realise about the consequences, in which one is going to put the other person, by his acts, in which one is absent mindedly engaged, at a particular moment. You should have kept a garbage tin to store the refuse in your house. the pavement is certanly not you have to spoil my morning? Who would be responsible for my loss, in case I go home in a taxi, for a change of dress?

The lady felt very sorry at that act of hers, and came down apologizing, and offered to give me a newly pressed suit of her brother, that would fit me properly, or to pay for the taxi charges to go home for a change of suit.

I also felt consoled, and after changing my dress, reached my new job on time. this was the beginning of a new friendship.
